Local Information

Steeped in history, Dunkeld & Birnam is only a 10 minute drive from the farm. Home to an ancient Cathedral and the oak tree that inspired Shakespeare's Macbeth, Dunkeld has a number of different attractions and facilities. The local area was also a favourite of Beatrix Potter and there is an exhibition of her work in Birnam. The village has ample parking and a range of shops and cafes within walking distance. For the more adventurous check out the National Trust walk to The Hermitage or walk up to see Osprey's at the Loch of the Lowes.
